What is IGNITE?
Ignite is a multi-day local missions trip that is intended to awaken the passion inside of local believers to reach out to their neighbors with the Love of Christ! We meet with homeowners, evaluate their needs, gather materials and then provide the Body of Christ with the opportunities to meet those needs through an Ignite event. Volunteers choose what projects they work on, then spend the day with other volunteers completing these service projects, while sharing the Love of Christ with the homeowner. We begin and end each day with a meal and a time of worship. Ignite is several days of fellowship, service, and fun! Following an Ignite event, Community Relief will continue to provide information on local projects through our website. This will give local believers the opportunity to become missionaries to their community all year long!
What to help prior to the event:
  • Evaluate jobs
  • Arrange materials
  • Help organize the event
  • Leadership
  • Get the word out!
  • Pray!
Financial Support Opportunities:
As with any outreach, there are financial needs associated with our ministry. We strive to lay our financial needs before the Throne of Grace and allow God to provide what we need. We do, however, feel that we should not neglect to make our needs known to those who would like to participate. In order for an Ignite event to be completed, we need finances for food, materials, shirts, tools, etc. We ask that you would join us in petitioning our great Provider to meet all of these needs.
What's our goal?
Our desire is to be the facilitating instrument that God use to empower His Body (the local church) to reach out and become missionaries to their local communities. We meet with homeowners, evaluate their needs, gather the needed materials and then provide the local churches with the opportunities to meet those needs.
"Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works and glorify your Father, who is in heaven."
Matthew 5:16
